great question! orono is my name, but it is also the name of a town in maine, where my japanese parents met a loooong time ago. perhaps you may know me as the frontman of superorganism, the cool art band that made Something For Your M.I.N.D. ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ but did you know i do a ton of other stuff too?
i am a multimedia artist fueled by a relentlessly DIY spirit. passions include: painting, designing merch, photography, making zines, etc, etc, ETC. i'm inspired by my friends and family, nature, and funny things... which is most things.
i run a youtube channel/podcast with my partner elliott. also, i'm currently hosting my second radio show in japan, called "OK Wow!" on TBS. are you impressed yet?
rearranging words (aka writing) is fun, i'm a big fan of that. in fact, it might be my favorite thing. but it's also the hardest, cos i've put it on such a high pedastal my whole life. screw that! i'm over it. so i'm launching a blog! i'll be writing twice a week on... anything, or writing based on prompts suggested by friends, or you! join the discord (coming soon!) and hit me up if there's something you want me to write about. i'll do it (maybe.) you have my word.
